Web24 Oct 2014 · The guy at Thiel told me that I could use a voltmeter to check the crossovers. He said they should read 20 ohms if they are working properly. He implied there was a design problem in the 3.6 crossover, with a capacitor sitting too close to a wire on the board.

With proper equipment matching, the performance is much closer to BMW 3 series in my estimation. The Thiel 3.6es are a stunning speaker and a bargain (full performance will require expensive electronics) at it's price point.
