For lead bullets, throats should be .0005" larger than bullet diameter and .001" larger than bore diameter. The optimum diameter for lead, coated or plated lead bullets is .358". .357 is the optimum diameter for jacketed bullets. Webb5 feb. 2015 · They are excellent coated bullets. I've been using their 135gr round nose 9mm. It performs nicely. I used the same load as I was using with BBI's and this bullet was a hair faster (5 fps average) I was able to load a little longer than I could with the BBI's. Smoke was the same or better than other coated bullets.
