I've noticed this mainly on females and with helmets such as the Ancient Nord Helmet and the Imperial Captain's Helmet. That worked like a charm. Just had to tweak a few settings in the character maker and the clipping issue disappeared. In a few weeks I bet someone will fix this somehow. I fixed Fallout clipping errors but I dunno if Skyrim uses a new way of skeletons. For the future, beard clipping occurs due to faulty/mismatching ".tri" files. They are not a necessity for any head mesh. If you added any other expressions mods in an attempt to fix your beard issue, delete those too. They won't help.
