Up front, I lost a lost about 1" of clearance going from a 30 to a 60. BUT, it matches my clearance in the rear, so it really isn't that big of a deal.

The R&P is not as weak as some think it is, and that's not the failure-prone part of a Dana 35c... the axle shafts are the real weak link. Yep, the splined part that goes into the carrier is what always snaps. Theres a gallery, proofing that.
