Dodge charger shifter stuck
WebDec 14, 2024 · Our charger we just got will not shift from the park position unless the pink release tab under the dash is depressed. The car is a ex police car so it has a column shift. has anyone else had this problem? I read where there was a recall on the 2008 models for this but thought this problem was solved on the 2012's. Any help would be appreciated. WebAug 1, 2012 · All you need to do is remove the chrome shifter bezel, remove the rubber tray below the ashtray, remove the two screws that are under it. Then gently pry at the shifter/upper center console (the gray piece surrounding the chrome shifter bezel) surround and it will pop off.
