The 21st CCLC grant provides funds for out-of-school time programs serving students who attend a school with a 40% or higher free/reduced-lunch population. WebThe 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative is the only federal funding source dedicated to supporting local summer learning and afterschool programs. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (now known as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)) updated and reauthorized the 21st CCLC program in December 2015.
